ABOUT ME
I'm a college student in the Pacific Northwest (USA) - female, friendly but actually very shy, utterly obsessed with my fandoms and reading everything within reach and making graphics, and am prone to outbursts of wild squees and bouncing. I'm wildly in love with and unofficially officially married to my boyfriend, Derek (we'll be officially official in summer 2010 or so). My partners in crime are Mrs. and Mrs. Awesome, ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) kalalanekent and anissa7118.
I'm one of the few people on LJ dedicated to the original Superman movies and pretty much the only one who produces Reeveverse graphics on a regular basis. Despite having no time, for instance, I'm working on a very long-term project I call Project: STM, the aim of which is to make icons (not bases or simple textless icons but full-blown icons) for nearly every screencap I have of Superman: The Movie. You can tell I'm obsessed. ;) Consequently, I'm a founder and co-mod of ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) reeveverse, the only LJ comm devoted exclusively to the original Superman movies. I also co-mod cloisicontest and richard_love, because anissa7118 made me love Richard White.
My other fandoms (ones that I'm likely to make icons for) are Firefly, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Batman, Contact, Smallville, Lawrence of Arabia, and Iron Man. I ship mainly canon pairings (Lois/Clark and Anakin/Padme FTW!) and weird pairings (Sirius/Snape, Vader/Han, Richard/Lois/Clark, and the EPBOD OTP, to name some of the crazier ones) but am open-minded to other possibilities. And I don't participate in shipping wars, no matter how much I may want to at times. *rolls eyes at self* I think fandom is focused too much on shipping - I really enjoy my ships, but genfic often gets me going like nothing else.
